“Ah yes, kids aren’t awake yet. Quickly, got to have some peace and quiet before the madness…”
Kayleigh Dodsworth, our Senior Recruitment Consultant at our Ripley office is now up.
It’s 5:00am. A lot of the world will still be asleep, but not Kayleigh, she is up to get everything ready for her 2 kids to get to school.
And also to have her first cuppa of the day.
Once the kids are ready, they are kicked out! (I don’t think she actually kicks them)
7:20am. Now it is time to leave.
Kayleigh is just gagging for one of Paula’s (fellow Senior Recruitment Consultant) freshly made morning brews. The sound of the kettle boiling, the light tap of spoon to mug, and the soothing sound of pouring water…heavenly.
First things first, time to check in with the basics, doing check ins, making sure everything and everyone is where they should be, and catching up on emails.
Now that Danielle (another fellow Recruitment Consultant) is on Maternity leave, there is no instigator for ordering breakfast anymore…Therefore, no breakfast for Kayleigh unless she is feeling absolutely ravenous and decides to take action!
It’s DRM (Daily Review Meeting) time! The Ripley office is covered in whiteboards, which Kayleigh will go through with the rest of the team, making sure everything is actioned, caught up with or communicated!
Our Ripley branch have just had a new recruit in, Izzy, who Kayleigh has taken on as her little apprentice, making sure she is well trained and ready for the world of recruitment!
Also, now that Ripley Branch Manager, Lauren is off, Kayleigh and Paula will use their senior positions to take more control over the whole team and make sure they all have the help they need.
Lunch time! Lots of soup for lunch.
She has stated that she now needs to keep away from Greggs. Too many of them sausage rolls quite recently!
No day is the same for our Consultants, but Kayleigh’s day will usually consist of sales visits, meeting new or existing clients on a regular basis, and getting those bookings filled!
TIME TO DASH HOME!
Got to get that dinner ready, before leaving for the all-important Zumba class!
She is known around the gaff as the ‘Zumba Queen’ and the ‘Front Row Diva’ as she commits to attending a session almost every dat – and is always at the front of the class!
Just saying, Kayleigh could have made these names up for herself, I have no evidence…
Time for a relax on the sofa. Need to rest all of those aches and pains endured from Zumba.

I would also like to point out, she told me that this is the 4th time she has watched the whole lot. The 4th!!
But you know, we all have that one comfort show.
Once those vampires have finished their diary entries, she is off to bed at 10:30pm.
“Oof. Those gosh darn Zumba aches!”
