Welcome to the team: Jodie Homewood

Our Chesterfield office has expanded once more!

We welcomed Jodie into the team last week – we asked her a few questions about her time with us so far…

 

 

What made you apply for the role at Essential Recruitment?

“I wanted a new challenging role with opportunity to grow within a company.”

Tell us a bit about your current role. What are your main duties? What are you responsible for?

“I am currently in my 2nd week of being a Recruitment Consultant, I have been checking in with clients and finding new starters and checking in with them. I have visited a few sites now, met the employees and been through a couple of inductions.”

Let’s talk about your past work experience. What did you do before joining Essential?

“Before Essential I worked within the police doing administration work & before that I worked as a manager in travel money for 3 years!”

Would you recommend others to join Essential? If so, why? What parts of the job do you enjoy the most?

“Definitely, the days are never long and go by really quick. Everyone is so friendly and helpful in my team and you get to meet a variety of different people every day – no day is ever the same!”

What do you think you bring to the team?

“I am very motivated to do well in any job so definitely motivation and passion”

Tell us about about your personal life – what do you do for fun?

“I have two little brothers so love spending time with them, I love going to festivals & music events and of course holidays! I recently got back from Spain – my first holiday since covid”
