Welcome to the team: Amelia Sturgeon

Say hello to Amelia Sturgeon – one of three new recruits in our Barnsley office! Before joining Essential, Amelia worked in Management for a high street coffee chain, so carry on reading to find out how she’s getting on with a totally new industry!

 

What made you apply for the role at Essential Recruitment?
“I saw the Instagram account and it looked like a great place to work and a good bunch of people.”

Tell us a bit about your current role. What are your main duties? What are you responsible for?

“I am a Recruitment Consultant, responsible for filling any vacancies our branch needs to fill and being the point of contact between clients and candidates.

Would you recommend others to join Essential? If so, why? What parts of the job do you enjoy the most?

“I would definitely recommend Essential to other people. The best part of this job is the close knit family feel and how everyone supports one and other.”

What do you think you bring to the team?

“I think I bring a can do attitude and I love to throw myself into any challenge set.”

Tell us about about your personal life – what do you do for fun?

“I am a very social person, my idea of fun is a bottomless brunch with my closest friends. I also love going to the gym and training on a regular basis.”
