We recently donated £100 to our client Flowerline, as our contacts Julian and Jo completed a sponsored 220 mile bike ride from Wales to Wellow.

Their goal is to purchase equipment for the Nottingham Breast Institute, which they have successfully been doing for a number of years now.

“Through cycling numerous long-distance routes and continuing to hold The Strawberry Ball, our group has raised approximately £300,000 which has enabled the hospital to purchase a mobile breast screening unit (which is still in situ today in Newark Hospital’s Car Park), and a new state of the art mammographic scanner. Some of the money raised has also been shared with the Breast Cancer Now charity, which concentrates on research into this cruel disease.” – From their JustGiving page.

Cancer has affected so many of our loved ones, so we’re always interested in supporting charities which support research and awareness campaigns.
