Temporary to Permanent position

One of the UK’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of steel reinforcing products and services are currently looking for operatives to join their expanding operation based in Swadlincote.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone with welding, fabrication or crane operating experience to develop and secure a permanent position within this growing company.

Pay Rate:

• £12.50 per hour
• Can increase to £14.00 once fully trained

Hours:

• 07:00 – 17:00 Monday – Thursday
• 07:00 – 16:00 Friday
• 44 hours per week 1 hour unpaid break per shift

Daily Tasks:

• Machine Operating
• Steel and link bending
• Quality checking
• Loading steel parts
• General house keeping
• Working within a small team
• Overhead crane operation
• Fixing and welding steel parts together

Skills Required:

• Previous experience with either MIG welding, fabrication or crane operating is desired but not essential
• Must be ok with heavy lifting
• Have willingness to learn
• Be comfortable working in yard areas
