Production Operatives, Dinnington

This is an ad-hoc position offering flexible work between one and five days per week, making it ideal for students, individuals seeking seasonal work, someone wanting extra cash or those looking to supplement another job.

We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to work in a clean and sterile production environment, offering full or part time work on a temporary ongoing basis.

As a Production Operative you will be standing a production benches handling fine powder materials. In this role you will be lifting large bags onto work stations, weighing powders, quality checking and pallet loading. Please note this role includes manual work and you can be lifting up to 25kg when required.

We’re looking for candidates within experience in a Packer, Food Production Operative or role within a similar environment or food production/processing.

Working Hours / Pay:

• Monday to Friday, 8am – 16:30pm
• Part or full time work
• £12.71 per hour

Key Responsibilities of a Production Operative:

• Working in a clean and sterile production environment under bright artificial lighting
• Standing at production benches for the full duration of the shift
• Handling fine powder materials, including lifting large bags onto work stations and weighing powder into smaller sealed bags to precise measurements
• Ensuring products meet quality and weight specifications
• Pallet loading and general manual handling duties, including lifting up to 25kg when required
• Working to productivity targets and meeting set KPIs
• Following instructions and adhering to all workplace procedures

Candidate Requirements for this Production Operative position:

• Ability to stand for the full duration of the shift
• A positive attitude and willingness to follow instructions
• Ability to meet targets and maintain productivity standards
• Physically capable of lifting up to 25kg where required
• Packing or food production experience is necessary
