Production Operative, Retford

PRODUCTION OPERATIVES – START ASAP

Due to incredible growth at one of our clients in Retford, we need 4x Production Operative to join their expanding team!

We are hosting a walkaround in the factory next week – contact us to join on now!

Hours / Pay:

• £12.82ph on days
• £14.10ph on afters and nights
• 39 hours per week
• Shifts – Days/Nights/Afters rotating each week

Duties include:

Working in a factory environment where you will do a mixture of duties to make the overall product:

• Moulding and sanding the rubber
• Quality checking, including visual inspection, hardness checks using a small tool and recording of this on the computer by clicking buttons
• Weighing the product on a scale
• Trimming rubber using a scalpel
• Setting up the moulds for the products
• Mixing chemicals by hand
• General housekeeping sweeping and keeping a tidy workspace
• Heavy lifting
• Working within other areas of the business doing assembling and other duties
• Can be quite dirty and warm when working in the ovens

The candidate:

• Any moulding/quality/ production experience would be advantageous
• Happy to work in an unclean environment
