Due to recent growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit Panel Wirers, based in Burton on Trent for a company that are world leading manufacturer of load banks.
The ideal candidate must have a good eye for detail, a flexible approach to work and be able to work under minimum supervision. You will be required to do a high level of soldering, wiring and mechanical assembly with the ability to understand electrical schematic drawings and to work with minimal supervision.
Rates of Pay: £15.53 per hour / £31,494 per annum + overtime
Hours of work (39 hours per week):
- Monday to Thursday 07:30am – 16:00pm
- Friday 07:30am – 15:00pm

The Role:
- Electrical wiring
- Panel Wiring to Schematic diagrams (As per experience, qualifications or training).
- Lay out electrical components to the design wiring diagrams.
- Responsible for the quality control of their work. Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs).
- Identifying training needs.
- Communicate with other operators.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- General housekeeping and continual improvement activities.
- Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
Skills and Knowledge:
- To have worked as a Panel Wireman for at least 1-3 years
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery
