Experienced Panel Wirer, Burton on Trent

Due to recent growth and expansion we are looking to recruit an experienced Panel Wirer on a temporary to permanent basis.

This opportunity is based in Burton on Trent, Staffordshire and is perfect for someone who has solid panel wiring experience, knowledge of soldering, surface mount components, through hole, wiring and cable assembly.

This role requires a high level of soldering, wiring and mechanical assembly with the ability to understand electrical schematic drawings and to work with minimal supervision.

The Role:

• Electrical wiring
• Producing PCB layouts and testing prototypes.
• Assembly and re-work of components
• Wiring test boxes
• Assembly and test of electronic PCB’S
• Soldering, Through Hole, Surface mount components
• Wiring and testing PLC control boards

Skills and Knowledge:

• Must have experience in a Panel Wirer role
• Competent using electrical and mechanical drawings
• Following Schematics or Engineering Drawings
• Knowledge of Soldering, Surface mount components, Through Hole, Wiring and Cable Assembly is desirable

Rates of Pay: £16.11 per hour

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am – 16:00pm with an hour early finish on a Friday!

Contract: Temporary to permanent
