Machine Setting Operative- Barnsley
Due to recent growth and expansion, we are looking for 2 Machine Setting Operatives to work for this long established company based in Barnsley.

- Monday-Friday, rotating shifts, 6am-2pm/ 2pm-10pm /10pm-6am weekends off!

Duties:
- You will be assisting operating various plastic extrusion machines.
- You will be changing over materials on the machines.
- You will be responsible for cleaning down and stripping the machines.
- Setting downstream equipment to desired product requirements.
- Potential to supervise shift where required.
- Quality checking products.
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all time.
- Palletising and tie wrapping orders.
- Preparing orders for dispatch.
- Various other duties as and when required.
Role requirements:
- Experience of setting, modifying and changing single screw and twin screw plastic extrusion machinery.
- Supervisory experience beneficial.
- Candidate MUST have their own transport.
- Working within tight engineering tolerance
- Experience working to high health and safety requirements
- Experience in quality control beneficial.
- Must have a positive attitude to work, good attention to detail and the ability to work with various production equipment.
- Must be physically fit as the role requires standing on your feet for long periods of time.
- Must be punctual and willing to learn.
