REF S202: Battery Refurbishment Operative, Sheffield S20

Battery Refurbishment Operative required for an immediate start.

An exciting opportunity has come up within a multi-national company based in the S20 area of Sheffield for a Battery Refurbishment Operative to join the team.

The company designs and manufacturers standard and bespoke rail power systems, both trackside and vehicle mounted.

Pay:

• £11.55 per hour

Hours:

• Working 8 hours a day / Monday to Friday
• Day shifts, usually 8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm, but must be flexible to the business needs

Main duties:

• Processing of batteries through the refurbishment, formation and cycling process
• Investigation and resolution of any queries arising from the processing and collection of associated battery refurbishment data
• Operate within and strive to improve defined performance measures including cost budgets
• Ensure that all company EH&S best practices are adhered to
• Cleaning and maintenance of batteries and battery shells
• Any other duties as reasonably requested

Experience required:

• Strong focus on client satisfaction
• FLT experience is massively advantageous
• Good written and verbal communication
• Proven ability to work within a team
• Must be physically fit due to the nature of the role
• Previous battery / circuit knowledge is advantageous
