Temporary Recruitment
Charged as an hourly margin in addition to the Employee’s hourly wage.
Rate Breakdown
The rate will be tailored towards you and the specific role you’re hiring for.
Our hourly margin is calculated based on:
- The role
- Difficulty to recruit
- The candidate market
- Recruitment timescale
Your charge rate will include the following provisions:
- Employer’s National Insurance
- Holiday pay
- Statutory Sick Pay
- Pension Pay
These provisions are legal requirements and therefore not negotiable.

Permanent Recruitment
Charged as a percentage of the candidate’s annual salary.
How the fee is calculated
The fee will be a percentage of the candidate’s annual wage, typically between 10-20%. These cost is a reflection of the nature of the role, the time it would take to recruit and the required resources.
We offer a rebate structure to protect you in the unlikely instance that the candidate doesn’t work out.
Rebate Structure
Should a candidate we’ve placed leave before 12 weeks of employment, we will refund a portion of the placement fee back to you, in the following structure:
- 1-4 Weeks: 75%
- 4-8 Weeks: 50%
- 8-12 weeks: 25%
- 12 weeks+: 0%

Depending on the role, permanent placements are either covered by your local branch or by our specialist Permanent division, Essential Professional.

Weekly Invoicing (Permanent Placements)
Permanent placement fees can feel like a lot to pay at once – so we have introduced our weekly invoicing option which splits the fee into 12 equal instalments.
How is the fee calculated
The fee will be a percentage of the candidate’s annual wage, typically between 10-20%.
Rebate Period
If the candidate leaves during the instalment period, you will only be invoiced for the weeks they were employed.
