Earlier this year we welcomed Natalie Wilson into the Chesterfield team and she’s already settled down well into Essential Life.

We asked her a few questions about her time with us so far…

What made you apply for the role at Essential Recruitment?

“I was always intrigued about working in recruitment and thought it would be something I’d be good at!”

Tell us a bit about your current role. What are your main duties? What are you responsible for?

“The main duties in this role are greeting candidates, sitting down and speaking with them about their past experiences, roles they would like to go into next and what would be a good fit. I also speak with clients about their requirements for the coming weeks and candidates we have available.”

Let’s talk about your past work experience. What did you do before joining Essential?

“Before joining Essential I worked as a Business Development Manager for an IT MSP and previously IT Distribution”

Would you recommend others to join Essential? If so, why? What parts of the job do you enjoy the most?

“I would 100% recommend Essential to anyone, everyone is so friendly, staff and candidates. You get to speak to different people on a daily basis, visit clients, and much more. The role is so varied that you never get bored and there’s always something to do. You also feel a sense of achievement.”

What do you think you bring to the team?

“From working in Sales for the last few years, I’m not afraid to pick up the phone and call potential clients”

Tell us about about your personal life – what do you do for fun?

“What I do outside of work varies, one weekend it might be ice-skating, the next bingo, quiz nights, high rope courses, or binging Netflix!”
