The role we’re recruiting for:
A leading supplier of Poultry products in Gainsborough are looking for Production operatives to join their busy team.

The Duties of a Production Operative:
– Trimming and preparation of the product on a fast paced production line
– Rotating in different departments, packing, butchery, dispatch
– Working on a fast paced production line
– Using knives to trim meat
– Machine operating
– Palletising
– Cleaning working area
The Ideal candidate:
– Ideally worked in food production environment
– Happy with repetitive work
– Happy to work in a cold environment
– Happy to do overtime at short notice
– Happy to work in a fast paced environment
– Experience is not essential but the right attitude to work is
Pay: £8.72-£11.60ph starting pay
£9.00ph-£13.50ph after 12 weeks
You will be working in a fast paced production environment where they will be on their feet for most of the day. You will be working in a repetitive role. You must be willing to work in an environment that is cold, all the correct PPE will be provided before each shift.
Working hours are Monday-Friday, 7.00am-5:30pm with a chance to work some overtime after 40 hours, anything you work over 40 hours is paid at £11.60 for the first 12 weeks overtime may be required at short notice in busy periods. As a production operative you shall receive an hourly pay of £8.72 and over time at £11.60, basic pay rising to £9.00 after 12 weeks, overtime paid at £13.50. You must happy with working ad hoc shifts to start with but regular work will follow for 5 days per week for candidates who are showing reliable you will receive regular hours.
You must be able to attend an induction and a walk around of the factory prior to starting which normally involves starting work straight away the induction. For the right candidate after a successful completion of 12 weeks there will be opportunity for a permanent role.
