Donating to the INBL Charity Walk

Essential Recruitment are delighted to donate £100 to our Barnsley client Nigel, as he takes on an incredible challenge for charity.

On the 26th September, Nigel will join the team from the ‘Imagine Not Being Leeds’ Youtube fan channel for a courageous 40+ mile walk across the Pennines. Setting off from Old Trafford at 6am, the team will trek all the way to Billy Bremner’s statue at Elland Road, aiming to finish at around 11pm.

The challenge is raising funds for Andy’s Man Club and Leeds Autism Services, two fantastic causes that are very close to the organiser’s hearts.

We’d like to wish Nigel and everyone taking part the very best of luck. Taking on a challenge of this scale is a remarkable achievement in itself. We know the day will be physically demanding, but we’re sure the sense of accomplishment at the finish line, and the difference made through the funds raised, will make every mile worthwile.

“First of all, I just want to say a massive thank you to Essential Recruitment for this £100 donation. It really does mean a lot to all of us.

On the 26th of September, myself and a group of Leeds fans from INBL are walking over 40 miles from Old Trafford to Elland Road to raise money for Andy’s Man Club and Leeds Autism.

Both charities are really close to our hearts because we have people within our group who are directly affected by the issues they support. That makes this more than just a charity challenge for us. These are causes that we genuinely care about and want to help.

Andy’s Man Club does such important work in giving men a safe place to talk and reminding people that they don’t have to deal with things on their own. Leeds Autism provides valuable support and understanding for autistic people and their families.

The walk is going to be a huge challenge, but knowing we’re doing it for two causes that mean so much to people within our group gives us even more reason to get through those 40-plus miles.

So, once again, thank you to Essential Recruitment for your very generous donation and for getting behind us. Every donation helps us get closer to our target, and we really appreciate your support.”
