Two of our team laced up their trainers to go the distance for Anti-Slavery International
This year, we were lucky to receive two more charity places on the London Landmarks Half Marathon. On the 12th April, our Operations Director Lauren and Barnsley Branch Manager Summer completed the 13 mile run in our capital city, raising £1247 for Anti-Slavery International.
Anti-Slavery International work to support those who have survived conditions of modern slavery, as well working with organisations and Governments to challenge and change the systems that enable modern slavery. They are working to end various conditions of modern slavery including human trafficking, child slavery and forced labour.
At Essential Recruitment, we feel it’s our responsibility as labour providers to support and contribute towards the fight against modern slavery. Every year, we participate in Anti Slavery Week to spread awareness amongst our clients, candidates and social media followers.
