MODERN SLAVERY STILL EXISTS IN 2025
What have we been up to?
During Anti-Slavery Week (13th–19th October 2025), we’ve been onsite with some of our GLAA clients, including Griffith Foods, IVC Brunel Healthcare and PPS, delivering delicious goodies alongside important information about the signs of modern slavery.
For context, the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA) is the UK regulator responsible for protecting vulnerable workers in sectors like agriculture, horticulture, shellfish gathering, and food processing, where modern slavery and labour exploitation are more prevalent.
As labour providers, it’s our responsibility to ensure that both our clients and candidates are aware of the risks and know how to spot the signs. Educating everyone involved helps us prevent exploitation, protect vulnerable individuals, and promote safe and fair working environments.
Together, we can help spot and protect victims from modern slavery.
