Natalie joined our Recruitment Agency in 2020. Here’s your chance to get to know her more!

My Story:

I studied a business degree at University and completed a marketing internship. After I graduated, Essential was my first marketing role. I started as a Marketing Assistant in January 2020 and was promoted to Content Strategist in June 2021. In October 2024, I started a Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship alongside my role at Essential, with the view to progress within my department. Since 2022, I have been a member of our employee council, in this role I take suggestions and feedback from our employees to our quarterly board meetings to help to improve our operations and culture. I was promoted again to Assistant Marketing Manager in August 2025. 

My Role:

My role involves supporting our branch network and Business Development team across recruitment and sales. Within recruitment, I use my skills to attract candidates looking for work to apply for work with us and join our agency. Within sales I use my marketing skills to attract businesses to use our services and help to build our client base and exposure witin different geographical areas. I am responsible for managing our social media platforms, creating new content for our social media, website and blog, creating new sales content and flyers, building our following on our social media platforms. 

I have also been helping to train our new starter in our department!

I am good at creating new ideas for content, attention to detail and driving traffic to our website. I enjoy the analytical side of my role, tracking our content and increasing our audience. I find satisfaction in learning more about what type of content our audience engages with and seeing our Facebook engagement and reach increase.

Outside of work, you’ll find me:

I enjoy spending time with my dog, he is a 7 year old Japanese Akita who I rehomed at 3 years old. I love reading, especially thrillers, I love a good murder mystery too! I enjoy cooking and trying new meat free meals – I haven’t eaten meat for 18 years! I love Indian & Italian food

What would you dream job be, if money wasn’t a factor?

My dream job would to be to be the female David Attenborough. I would love to experience what he has experienced. I love animals and the planet and the opportunity to explore the world for your job would be really cool.
