We are still operating as usual at Essential Recruitment, however we have implemented a few measures to help keep us, our staff and our clients safe.

FAQ:

Are you still recruiting?

We are, however the number of roles we have available at this time is significantly lower than usual. We’re still processing payroll for key members of staff plus those that have been furloughed by our clients.

 

How do I register with Essential during the pandemic? 

We’re completing the registration process over video call where possible, so no need to physically visit our offices! Please call your local office to arrange a time to do this. Please note that you will be required to show your Right to Work documentation during this process (National Insurance Number and Proof of Identity).

Have you Furloughed temporary members of staff?

The decision to Furlough was left to the discretion of our clients. Where they have requested this, and the candidate meets the criteria, we have organised payment via the government scheme and paid them ourselves until we could claim the money back.

 

I was laid off because my workplace closed down. Will I get my job back after lockdown?

We will do our best to accommodate our temporary staff as soon as we can, however we are completely reliant on whether our client businesses return to normal.
