Say hello to Megan, the newest member of our Barnsley team!

Megan joins Branch Manager Amy, Senior Consultant Nicole, Recruitment Consultants Summer and Georgia and Resourcer Molly.

She’s come in as a Resourcer, but is already working her way up to becoming a Recruitment Consultant – ‘Every day I am doing something different; I answer incoming calls and deal with the queries, I book people in for interviews and organise their registration with us’ she tells us.

Prior to her role at Essential, Megan was a Community Care Worker – ‘In my role I would travel to the resident’s house and take care of them. I would make sure that the resident had the right medication, that food was made for them and that they were receiving the right care. I applied for this role as I wanted a change in career, this role brings something different everyday and this is what really interested me!’

She tells us that she is really enjoying her time with us so far, as ‘you are never doing the same thing. The office and the girls I work with make the job better as they are a good team to work with!’

In her spare time Megan enjoys shopping trips with her partner, going out for food and drinks and lots of time to pamper herself getting her hair, nails and eyelashes done!
