We donated £100 to Ashgate Hospicecare this month on behalf of our Financial Controller, Sarah Wadsworth.

Sarah is taking on the Ashgate Hospicecare High Peak Trail Walk to raise vital funds for the Hospice. She says “They need our support now more than ever, so please make a donation if you can on behalf of my challenge. No matter how small or large, every penny counts. On behalf of myself and Ashgate Hospicecare, thank you so much.”

Ashgate Hospicecare is a charity (no. 700636) that provides compassionate, specialist palliative and end of life care, free of charge, to patients with a life-limiting illness and their families across North Derbyshire. Last year, they looked after 1,680 patients at home, 414 patients on their ward and supported 476 bereaved family members.

The Hospice receives less than 30% NHS funding, and as many of our local staff members have had experiences with them, we truly do feel this is a great cause to support.
