The National Minimum Wage is due to increase on Saturday October 1st, 2016.
The minimum rate is dependent on the worker’s age, and is shown in the table below;

The new rates of pay apply to pay reference periods beginning on, or after the 1st October and are compulsary – non-payment can be fined 200% of the amount owed!
