Jobs posted: 174 (+3 vs April)
Summary: The only role in this list to have received an influx of new candidates, however there aren’t an equal ratio of new roles to satisfy this crowded market. A good time for advert reponse!
Production & Manufacturing
Average Pay: £13.76
People seeking roles: 36,330 (-700 vs April)
Jobs posted: 572 (+69 vs April)
Summary: A 14% increase in roles posted is met with a whopping 63:1 candidate ratio. Again, a good time for advert response.
Adminstrator
Average Pay: £12.82
People seeking roles: 16, 064 (-2639 vs April)
Jobs posted: 123 (+19 vs April)
Summary: Here we have a 130:1 candidate ratio with Administrators – this looks like a good thing, but can be stressful for time-sapped hirers. Job posts will likely be met with an inundation of unsuitable response.
Purchase Ledger
Average Pay: £13.30
People seeking roles: 1259 (-1980 vs April)
Jobs posted: 18 (-2 vs April)
Summary: This title has the smallest amount of available roles in the list, but with a decent amount of candidates. As above, a busy inbox can be expected – however an extremely significant drop in candidates from April may indicate a continuing trend. Perhaps the stress of year end caused a lot of Purchase Ledgers to wonder if the grass was greener!
