On the 24th April, our Business Development Manager, Charlie Baker rallied up the residents of “The Paddocks” in Newton Solney for a clean-up campaign on Dale Brook and the public footpath.
We wanted to contribute to this cause for a number of reasons. Firstly, Charlie has been with us for 7 years and we wanted to show our support to something that she is passionate about. Secondly, we truly believe in giving back to our local community wherever possible. Thirdly, we’re very aware of the state of the environment and the mounting pressure on us all to take action.
The event was also sponsored by:

- South Staffordshire County Council – Equipment and collection of the rubbish out of hours.
The ‘Clean Up Crew’ managed to clear a large pile of rubbish – including a shopping trolley!
In total 53 people came together to assist on the day and all promised to re-join towards the end of the summer to do it again and maintain the hard work they completed. See all the photos from the day below…
