Anti Slavery Day 2019

This year’s Anti Slavery campaign received fantastic feedback from our internal staff members and clients – many of whom were astounded by the statistics surrounding Modern Day Slavery.

Our consultants received their awareness packages –  infographics, Hi-Vis vests printed with the Modern Day Slavery helpline number and temporary anti-slavery day campaign tattoo’s purchased from the Salvation Army – and went to visit their clients. Our staff were able to have some fun posing for photos for social media whilst informing their clients how to spot the signs commonly associated with victims of Human Trafficking.

We started off our day with a visit from The Salvation Army. Carl and Elizabeth, the representatives for Chesterfield, visited our Head Office to receive a cheque for £500. We raised this money through staff wage deductions over the year which are matched by the company.

Our Head Office also put together a display for their entrance area which showed a collection of useful information including helpline numbers, signs of Modern Day Slavery and statistics on victim rates across the world.

Below are some the photos sent over from our Consultants. It was fantastic to see so many clients and employees getting involved and wanting to learn more about how they can help.
