Annual Summer Do – Hunted in the Peaks

On Saturday 21st May, we had our annual summer do. It was great to be able to get the Essential family together again for some fun team building, after we have missed out on the past 2 years due to the pandemic! This year we took part in the Peaks Go Hunted experience in Cromford, Derbyshire. We basically spent the day as fugitives on the run avoiding capture!

We took part in a treasure hunt, trying to find 40 tokens which had been hidden by the Peaks Go team the day before. They provided us with 2 maps of the area and marked the locations of the tokens. Then we were on our way, collecting tokens but trying to avoid being captured along the way!

The Peaks Go team were so sneaky, hiding amongst the wilderness and one even caught us out by changing up his outfit so it was hard to recognise him! Overall, the experience was so fun, it was really exciting when we were being chased and it was a great way to get the teams to work together and develop their own strategies.

Congratulations to our winning team of Sam, Kelly, Sarah, Megan, Nathan & Natalie W who ended up with over 1000 points!

Afterwards, we enjoyed a well deserved drink and buffet at Cromford Mill, it was a brilliant day and we would highly recommend taking part in this experience.
