“6:45am already? GIVE ME THAT COFFEE!”
That is how Yasmin Revill, our Senior Recruitment Consultant from our Worksop office starts her day, or so we think…
There is no time for breakfast, as she wants to spend as much time in bed as she possibly can before it’s time to leave. It’s coffee…then straight out the door!
It’s way too early for breakfast she says, so she will either go without, or order something from the café that’s downstairs in the business centre.
It is time for the phone to start ringing, and for her to check in with her clients, to see if everyone has turned up for work. From that, she will list down what she has to do for the day.
Then, she will round everyone up – it is time for the morning meeting! Where they can go over topics such as what happened on the previous day, and positions that need to be filled.
As Yasmin is a Senior Consultant, she’ll spend time with the newer members of the team, offering on-the-job training, support and lots of reassurance!
Time for lunch! She will either have a packed lunch ready, or a salt and pepper chicken wrap from the café. She says she spends about 5 quid a day in that café!
She loves a Bounty, so she’ll be snacking on them throughout the day. But funnily enough, she hates coconuts…Hmm…
Once the chicken wrap is in the tum, she will get on with the profit reports, along with any service or sales visits that may be scheduled in.
ZOOM! Yasmin is off in the car, down to her weekly client visits. This is where she can brief them on what is kicking off, how everyone is doing, and discussing any plans for the weeks ahead.
Back in the office, it is time for any scheduled interviews and inductions. She’ll pop into the interview room, have a little chat about the role, and listen to the many people who are after one of her jobs! So many people, so little time.
She is also the Mrs. Motivator of the office, so will do her best to get the team pumped up for the rest of the day. She sits in her little corner, barking orders at her team! (In a nice way of course).
Not just the motivator, she is also the office DJ! But, as she let me know, it’s only to pick the radio station so…if that counts as a DJ, so be it.
Now it’s home time.
If it’s a Thursday, Yasmin will see her friend and pop round all the best shops – B&M, Dunelm, TK Maxx, ‘if you know you know’.
She will also spend most Friday’s and Saturday’s having a good old night on the town, before using the Sunday to recover, which refers to mostly snoozing…
She is actually currently in the middle of moving into her new house, but is just waiting on them gosh darn keys still!
Once she is moved in, she let me know that she will be getting a cockapoo, and calling it Wilson.
Got to get that sleep in before Wilson starts barking and yapping and demanding a toilet break and wanting to be fed and walked. Dog life eh.
