550 Stagecoach Drivers Strike Indefinitely in South Yorkshire

 

Following the strike actions towards the end of 2020, further strikes have been launched in South Yorkshire, affecting the Sheffield, Rotherham, Barnsley and Dearne Valley areas.

 

Between January 1st – 2nd, 550 Stagecoach Drivers began striking indefinitely over an ongoing pay dispute. This strike action is now affecting workers in the local areas who rely on public

transport to commute to and from work.

 

From January 4th dedicated school bus services would not be affected and a reduced service will be operating on weekdays including:

 

1 – High Green – Batemoor (Monday to Friday)

 

25 – Woodhouse – Bradway (Monday to Friday)

 

57 – Sheffield – Stocksbridge (Monday to Friday)

 

120 – Halfway – Fulwood (Monday to Friday)

 

22X – Rotherham – Barnsley (Monday to Friday)
