Yard Operative, Kirk Sandall Doncaster

We are currently looking for a reliable, physically fit, and detail-focused Yard Operative to join a busy manufacturing operation in Kirk Sandall, Doncaster.

This Yard Operative involves working both indoors and outdoors, supporting the production team by accurately selecting and transporting profiles from the yard into the factory.

Pay Rates:

• £12.71 per hour
• Overtime after 40 hours: £19.07 per hour

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 7.00am – 15.30pm

The role of a Yard Operative:

You will receive a job sheet detailing the specific profile required for production. Using this information, you will:

• Locate and identify the correct profile within the yard.
• Select and safely transport profiles into the factory for manufacturing.
• Ensure the correct materials are supplied to production teams.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised yard environment.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Assist with general yard duties as required.

What We’re Looking For in a Yard Operative:

• A great eye for detail as there are hundreds of different profile variations, and accuracy is essential.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.

Important Information:

The profiles are often long and awkward to carry, so candidates must be comfortable with physical work and manual handling duties throughout the shift.
