Warehouse Operative (Weekends), Eckington

We are currently recruiting Warehouse Operatives in the Eckington area to work weekend shifts.

This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates looking for consistent weekend work with the potential to secure a permanent role.

Shift Details:

• Saturday & Sunday
• 7am – 3:30pm
• 16 hours per week

Pay Rate

• £12.71 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Consolidation of orders, including: De-stacking, repacking, and rebuilding products onto pallets, Shrink wrapping, labelling, and preparing last-minute orders for shipment
• Order picking for online and retail store products using a handheld scanner
• Pulling items from warehouse shelves based on: Product number, size, colour, and quantity
• Ensuring accuracy and quality of all picks
• Handling heavy lifting as required
• Operating warehouse equipment such as LLOP / PPT trucks
• Working towards hourly pick targets and KPIs
• Cross-referencing customer orders to minimise errors
• Packing and preparing items for dispatch (goods out)
• Supporting with general warehouse duties as required

What We’re Looking For

• Recent experience working within a warehouse environment
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to follow instructions while also using your own initiative
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
