Are you an experienced Warehouse Supervisor looking for your next permanent role?
Due to continued growth and expansion, a large distribution centre in Castle Donington are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis.
In this Warehouse Supervisor role you will be leading and monitoring performance of a team of Warehouse Operatives to ensure productivity targets are met. You will be coaching and supporting your team to encourage development, drive continuous improvement and promote a good working culture.
We are seeking someone with experience in a similar Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader or Shift Supervisor role, with knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.

Key Details:
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 6am – 2pm
- £38,000 per annum + overtime payments

Daily Tasks of a Warehouse Supervisor:
- Lead and motivate a team of Warehouse Operatives to achieve productivity targets.
- Monitor performance and workflows to ensure efficient operations.
- Coach team members and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure high levels of accuracy and quality across all warehouse activities.
- Follow and enforce SOPs and quality standards.
- Investigate issues and implement solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Manage attendance, punctuality, and workforce performance.
- Support team development through coaching and guidance.
- Promote a culture of accountability, reliability, and professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, healthcare regulations, and company procedures.
- Lead by example and maintain a safe working environment.
- Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills Required for this Warehouse Supervisor role:
- Previous experience within a similar role (i.e. Warehouse Supervisor, Team Leader, Shift Supervisor)
- Flexibility in working hours
- Knowledge in Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies
- Basic computer skills – WMS systems
