Warehouse Stock Controller, Tankersley Barnsley

A local, well-established warehouse is currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Stock Controller to join their fast paced, friendly team based in Tankersley, Barnsley.

As a Warehouse Stock Controller you will be in full control of inbound and outbound, booking in stock, completing stock checks and annual audits, investigating stock discrepancies and updating records.

We are keen to speak with candidates who have previously worked within a Stock Controller, Inventory Control, Quality Assurance or similar role.

You will be working towards a long-term career within the warehousing and distribution industry, offering plenty of career progression opportunities along the way!

Details:

• £12.71 per hour
• Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
• Weekly pay!
• Immediate starts available
• Opportunity for permanent job role

Main duties of a Warehouse Stock Controller:

• Full control of inbound and outbound stock
• Booking stock into warehouse picking locations and booking stock out when despatched to customers
• Completing full stock checks and paperwork as and when required
• Investigating stock discrepancies and updating records
• Communicating with all warehouse, office, manufacturing and external departments
• Completion of annual stock audits
• Various other duties

Skills Required for this Warehouse Stock Controller position:

• Suitable candidates must have experience within stock control or quality assurance
• Computer literate
• Ability to communicate effectively with various departments
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to meet targets and deadlines
