Warehouse Production Operative, Castle Donington

A local company are seeking a Production Warehouse Operative to join their expanding team on a temporary to permanent basis. In this role you will be performing a variety of duties from packing books and magazines to labelling, scanning and sorting items for despatch. If you have worked in a Production Operative or Warehouse Operative role previously, we’d be really keen to speak to you.

Pay Rate:

• £12.71 per hour

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4pm (40 hours per week)

Production Warehouse Operative Duties:

• Packing books into plastic sleeves or cardboard boxes
• Packing magazines into boxes
• Weighing items
• Labelling packaged items
• Scanning items using a computer
• Sorting packaged items into correct tubs
• Loading magazines onto machines
• Quality checking
• Unloading finished product from machines

Skills required:

• Previous experience in a Production Operative / Warehouse Operative role would be preferable
• Ability to work within a team
