Warehouse Operative with Forklift Licence, Rotherham

We are currently working with an independent, fast growing manufacturing company, who are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Warehouse Operative with extensive Forklift experience.

Hours:

• Rotating shifts (days, afternoons & nights)
• Days: 5.45am – 2pm (Monday – Friday)
• Afters: 1.45 pm – 10pm (Monday – Friday)
• Nights: 9.45pm – 6am (Sunday – Thursday)

Pay Rate:

• £12.71 per hour
• Increases after training to £13.58 per hour

Main duties of a Warehouse Operative:

• Picking of items from correct locations ready for despatch of order’s
• Loading & unloading of products from deliveries using Forklift Counterbalance
• Organisation of stock within the warehouse & ensuring stock is labelled correctly
• Palletising & banding of heavy materials & products
• Stock put away into correct locations of racking using Forklift Reach
• Operating VNA trucks when needed (training can be provided)
• Working closely with other departments for preparation of order’s
• Ensuring all waste / rubbish is disposed of correctly & maintain a clean & tidy working environment
• Other duties included, as and when required

Skills required:

• Candidate MUST have an accredited or in-house Forklift Reach & Counterbalance license
• Must be physically fit due to nature of the role
• Both numerate & literate with expectancy of completing paperwork when needed
• Own transport would be essential due to working hours & location
• Ability to multi-task as well as working as part of a team
