Warehouse Operative with Forklift, Hellaby Rotherham

We are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative with Forklift Counterbalance and Reach licences to join a friendly company based in Hellaby, Rotherham on a temporary ongoing basis.

In this role you will be operating reach and counterbalance forklift trucks as well as general Warehouse Operative duties like picking orders, shrink wrapping, palletising and preparing orders for despatch.

Pay Rate:

• £14.00 per hour + overtime rates
• Paid breaks
• Weekly pay

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:30am – 4pm

Duties of a Warehouse Operative with Forklift include:

• Use of Forklift Reach Truck to put stock away into racking
• Picking orders from height and dropping pallets
• Shrink wrapping, palletising and preparing orders for despatch
• Picking single item products using paper pick sheets
• Loading and unloading customer orders using Forklift Counterbalance
• Manual handling of products weighing up to 30kg
• Various other warehouse and manual duties when required

Skills required for this Warehouse Operative with Forklift role:

• Forklift Reach and Counterbalance license required, in house license accepted
• Previous warehouse experience will be required
• Physically fit due to manual handling of orders
• Positive attitude towards work and learning new skills
• Ability to work within a small team
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work within a busy warehouse
