Warehouse Operative, Wakefield

We are currently looking for experienced Warehouse Operative to join a fast growing, family run company based in WF2, Wakefield.

As a Warehouse Operative, you will be joining a friendly team assisting with various manual handling duties of bathroom products, including shower screens, toilet seats and tiles.

Due to this, candidates must be physically fit due to the nature of the role. The role also includes preparing orders for despatch, shrink wrapping, labelling etc. Previous experience in a Warehouse Operative or similar warehouse/hands-on role would be required.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday – Occasional Saturdays if required
• 6:30am to 4:30pm

Pay Rate:

• £12.71 per hour

Main duties of a Warehouse Operative:

• Loading and unloading of bathroom items from shower screen, toilet seats, tiles and various other bathroom products
• Re-stacking, shrink wrapping, labelling and palletising orders
• Preparing orders for despatch and unloading stock into cages
• Hygiene, tidying, recycling cardboard and plastic sheets
• Assisting with stock put-away and replenishment when needed
• Various other warehouse duties

Skills Required:

• Previous warehouse or hands on experience would be required
• Ability to work within a fast-paced environment
• Candidates must be physically fit due to the nature of the role
• Ability to work well within a small team
• Positive attitude towards learning new skills and working within various areas of the warehouse
