Warehouse Operative – WF2, Wakefield

We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our fast-growing, family-run company based in the WF2 area of Wakefield. You will be part of a friendly and supportive team, assisting with the manual handling of bathroom products. Candidates must be physically fit due to the nature of the work.

Details:

• Monday to Friday – occasional Saturdays if required
• Day shift: 6am – 4:30pm
• £12.21 per hour
• Immediate starts available
• Free onsite parking
• Easily accessible via public transport
• Work for a well-established, family-run business

Main Duties:

• Loading and unloading bathroom products such as shower screens, tiles, and toilet seats
• Re-stacking, shrink wrapping, labelling, and palletising orders
• Preparing orders for despatch and unloading stock into cages
• Maintaining hygiene and tidiness in the warehouse
• Recycling cardboard and plastic packaging materials
• Assisting with stock put-away and replenishment when needed
• Other general warehouse duties as required

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous warehouse or manual handling experience is required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 30kg safely
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Positive attitude towards learning new skills and supporting various warehouse areas
