Warehouse Operative, Rotherham

A global PPE provider based in Goldthorpe, Rotherham are currently looking for Warehouse Operatives to join their team on an ongoing basis – multiple positions available!

This is a varied role where you’ll be picking and packing products to putting stock away and helping to keep a safe and clean working environment. If you have recent warehouse experience as a Warehouse Operative or similar role, we’d love to hear from you!

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 2pm – 10pm

Pay Rate:

• £13.38 per hour
• Overtime time paid at time and a half after 37.5hours

Main duties of a Warehouse Operative:

• Order picking and packing products from an automated belt
• Pulling warehouse items from the shelves based on a number, size, colour, quantity and quality requirements – this could involve heavy lifting
• Clearing, recycling and cutting down cardboard
• Putting stock away
• Operating equipment and ensuring safety regulations are followed
• Working towards targets
• Maintaining high levels of health and safety standards
• Performing other general warehousing duties as and when required

Skills Required:

• Recent experience working within a warehouse environment
• Positive attitude
• Good attention to detail and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work under instruction but also using own initiative.
• Must be numerate and literate
• Must be able comfortable heavy lifting and manual handling
