Warehouse Operative needed in Kirk Sandall Doncaster for leading supplier of products supplied for construction and many different industries, this position arises due to a booming order book.

Duties of a Warehouse Operative

• Working in a small team to receive, put away, replenish, pick, pack and despatch customer orders to the required quality standards, accuracy, efficiency and performance levels, whilst maintaining the highest levels of health and safety, welfare and security throughout the undertaking of all job requirements within the warehouse operation.
• This is a multi-task role therefore all colleagues will be required to perform all tasks involved in the operation such as emptying containers, picking orders from paper and headsets, bringing to packing bay and keeping a clean and tidy workspace
• Ensure that all products in line with customer specifications and quantities are picked packed and despatched to meet with the customer service level agreement
• Some heavy lifting

The ideal candidate for this Warehouse Operative role: 

• Would want a long term role
• Have some warehousing experience
• Be able to demonstrate working in a team
• Excellent literacy and numeracy

The working hours of the role are either 7.00am/7.30am-17.00/17.30 Monday to Friday. There may be some extra Saturdays from time to time. Your working week will be around 47.5 hours.

The role is starting off as temporary / ongoing, with a view to a permanent contract for the right candidate after 12 weeks. The company are looking for their next long term hire therefore you must be able to attend a face to face interview as part of the recruitment process.
