Warehouse Operative, Hoyland Barnsley

We are currently looking for an Experienced Warehouse Operative to work with our friendly, fast growing client based in Hoyland, Barnsley.
You will be joining one of the UK’s most successful retail distributors while working towards a long-term career offering huge scope for personal progression.

Key Details:

• Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 3pm (earlier finishes may be available depending on workload)
• No weekend work
• £12.71 per hour
• Temporary on going role
• Working for a highly established business
• Immediate starts available!

Main duties of the job:

• Quality checking goods
• Counting of units and re-labelling stock
• Ensuring correct items have the correct label on them
• Packing orders ready for stock put away
• Various other duties when needed
• Unboxing of inbound goods
• Reviewing and validating customer orders to ensure accuracy
• Working with a high level of attention to detail and time management
• Identify and address discrepancies in orders
• Reporting errors to the management team
• Completion of paperwork as and when needed

Skills required:

• Excellent attention to detail would be required
• Physically fit due to nature of work
• Previous warehouse experience needed (minimum of 1 year)
• Ability to work within a team and alone effectively
