Nights Warehouse Operative, Dodworth Barnsley

Are you looking for ongoing night shift warehouse work?

We are currently working with a fast-growing company based in Dodworth, Barnsley, who are currently recruiting for enthusiastic Warehouse Operatives on a temp ongoing basis.

This is a varied Warehouse Operative role, where you’ll be unboxing products, removing carboard and waste, shrink wrapping and preparing products for dispatch and some assembly work.

We’re seeking candidates who have experience within a Warehouse Operative or similar warehouse role. Any Assembly Operative experience would also be beneficial.

Pay Rate:

• £19.07 per hour

 

Hours:

• Sunday to Thursday
• 10pm – 6am

 

Duties of a Warehouse Operative:

• Following an instruction sheet to assemble shippers by hand
• Ensuring products meet customer expectations & produced to highest of standards
• Unboxing of products & filling of shippers with front facing products
• Tidying and removal of cardboard & waste
• Manual shrink wrapping of final products ready for dispatch
• Movement of pallets within the warehouse & preparing for delivery pick-ups
• Working within a fast paced environment
• Other warehouse duties, as and when required

 

Warehouse Operative Requirements:

• Previous experience working within warehouse environment
• Candidate must have an excellent attention to detail
• Must be happy working in a fast paced environment
• Assembly experience would be beneficial
• Ability to use own initiative as well as following of instructions
