Warehouse Operative, Dodworth Barnsley

We are currently looking for an Experienced Warehouse Operative to work with a friendly, fast growing company based in the Dodworth area of Barnsley.
You will be joining one of the UK’s most successful retail distributors while working towards a long-term career offering huge scope for personal progression.

The role involves performing a variety of duties from packing orders to quality checking, labelling stock and unboxing inbound goods.

Details:

• Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4pm (earlier finishes may be available depending on workload)
• No weekends!
• £12.71 per hour
• On-site parking
• Temp ongoing role
• Canteen & kitchen facilities provided

Duties:

• Following of instruction sheet to assemble shippers by hand
• Ensuring products meet customer expectations & produced to highest of standards
• Unboxing of products & filling of shippers with front facing products
• Tidying and removal of cardboard & waste
• Manual shrink wrapping of final products ready for despatch
• Movement of pallets within the warehouse & preparing for delivery pick-ups
• Working within a fast paced environment
• Other warehouse duties, as and when required

Requirements:

• Previous experience (1 year minimum) working within warehouse environment
• Candidate must have an excellent attention to detail
• Must be happy working in a fast paced environment
• Assembly experience would be beneficial
• Ability to use own initiative as well as following of instructions
