Warehouse Operative / HLOP Operator – Burton on Trent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative / HLOP Operator to join a company based in Burton on Trent. Due to continued business growth, this is a fantastic temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate to join a modern, well-organised warehouse environment.

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Friday
• 6am – 2:30pm
• Some flexibility on shifts available

Pay Rate:

• £12.21 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing items using hand-held scanners
• Counting, weighing, and breaking down stock for goods-in
• Booking stock into the system using computer software
• Labelling items once packed
• Meeting productivity and accuracy targets
• General housekeeping duties
• Manual handling and some heavy lifting

Key Skills & Requirements:

• Previous warehouse experience is essential
• Experience using hand-held scanners and computer systems
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Valid HLOP licence and experience is essential
• Comfortable with manual handling and some heavy lifting
