Warehouse Labourer – Darton

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Labourer to join a well-established business in Darton, Barnsley that offer guaranteed hours and stability.

Details;

• Monday to Thursday, 7.45am – 4.30pm / Friday, 8am – 1pm
• Candidates aged 21+ – £12.71 per hour
• Candidates aged between 18 – 20-year-old – £10.85 per hour
• Temp ongoing
• On-site parking

Duties;

• Safely loading and unloading raw materials, finished goods, and stock from wagons and vehicles for deliveries and internal processing
• Moving of stock manually from within the Yard & Factory
• Feeding & offloading materials onto machinery
• Quality checking of products to highest of standards in line with customer requirements & specifications
• Performing heavy lifting & manual handling of materials (up to 35kg)
• Working closely with all departments to meet production targets, schedules & quality standards are being met
• Reporting of any defects of products & materials to the relevant supervisor
• Maintaining a clean, safe & tidy working environment
• Following all Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Assisting with other duties, as and when required

Requirements;

• Candidate must be physically fit due to nature of the role
• Own transport would be beneficial due to the location
• Previous experience working within a similar role would be desirable
• Strong attention to detail & ability to follow instructions
• Must be reliable, hardworking and able to work independently
