Warehouse Counterbalance Forklift Driver, Selby

Join a local manufacturer offering long term work, with potential to gain a permanent contract!

We are recruiting for a Warehouse Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a manufacturer based in the Eggborough area, close to the Selby area, on a temporary to permanent basis.

As a Forklift Counterbalance Driver you will be moving stock around the warehouse, wrapping pallets and helping with any other duties as required. You will need an-date and accredited Counterbalance licence (ITSAAR, RTITB, TOPS, EURO 1, etc.) Not sure if your licence is accredited? Please note you MUST drive due to the remote location unless you live in Eggborough.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating shifts:
  • 6am – 2pm (1pm finish on Fridays)
  • 2pm – 10pm (9pm finish on Fridays)

Pay rate:

• £14.73 per hour
• £21.11 per hour for overtime

Contract type:

• Temporary to permanent

Key responsibilities of this Forklift Counterbalance role:

• Using a forklift counterbalance truck to move stock around the warehouse
• Wrapping pallets
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures
• Keeping the warehouse clear of all boxes and waste
• Any other duties required

Requirements of a Counterbalance Forklift Driver:

• In-date and accredited Counterbalance licence (ITSAAR, RTITB, TOPS, EURO 1, etc.)
• Previous experience using a Counterbalance in a warehouse position
