VNA Forklift Driver, Burton on Trent

A supplier local to Burton on Trent are currently looking for a VNA Forklift Driver to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis, offering immediate starts.

In this role you will be operating a VNA Forklift Truck, as well as completing general Warehouse Operative duties when needed, such as picking and packing items, assisting with goods in and labelling items.

If you have previously worked in a role operating VNA Forklift Trucks, with a VNA licence and general Warehouse Operative or Warehouse Picker/Packer experience we’d love to hear from you.

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am – 16:30pm / Friday, 7:30am – 15:30pm

Pay rate: £12.71 per hour

Contract: Temporary ongoing

Key Responsibilities of a VNA Forklift Driver:

• Operating the VNA forklift truck
• Picking and packing items using hand help scanner
• Counting, weighing and breaking down stock for good in
• Using the computer system to book in items
• Labelling the items once packed
• Meeting targets
• General housekeeping duties
• Manual handling and some heavy lifting will be involved

Key Skills Required for a VNA Forklift Driver:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Experience using hand held scanners and input data onto computer
• Working part as a team and on own
• VNA license and experience is essential
• Must be ok with some heavy lifting
