Van Driver and Waste Sampler, Burton on Trent

We are looking for a Van Driver / Waste Sampler to join a company based in Burton on Trent.

You will be working in sample preparation facility completing a variety of tasks.

No experience is required but the ideal candidate is happy with heavy lifting and working with numbers.

Please note – This position is based around the country so you must be okay with travel and have a drivers license.

 

Hours of work:

• Monday – Friday
• Day shifts

 

Pay:

• £12.71 per hour
• With premium overtime available.

 

Contract:

• Temporary ongoing role (May go perm for the right candidate)

Duties:

• Weighing, testing and analysis of samples – Samples include coal, wood etc.
• Jet washing barrels.
• Driving up and down the country
• To produce accurate records of the sampling undertaken.
• Driving between different sites / if and when required
• Complete various duties as requested by the line manager.

 

Skills required:

• Must hold a valid UK driving license
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Must be able to lift up to 25kg
