Trainee Machine Operative, Mansfield

A bespoke manufacturer in Mansfield are seeking a Trainee Machine Operative to join the team on an ongoing basis. This role is a great way to expand your skillset, as you’ll receive full inhouse training to operate production machinery that supports the manufacturing process. Prior to starting you’ll receive a full induction, any previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is advantageous but not essential.

Hours: Rotating Shifts (38 hours per week)

• Days: Monday to Thursday 6am – 2pm, Friday 6am – 12pm
• Afters: Monday to Thursday 2pm – 10pm, Friday 12pm – 6pm

Pay Rate:

• £12.71 per hour

Trainee Machine Operative Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery to support the manufacturing process
• Load and unload products onto machines
• Carry out basic quality inspections
• Ensure work areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe
• Follow company procedures and health & safety guidelines

What We’re Looking For in a Trainee Machine Operative:

• No formal qualifications required – full training will be provided
• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience is advantageous but not essential
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
