Temporary Banksman needed in DN21!

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Banksman to support site operations on a temporary basis, with work expected to start at the end of June / beginning of July.

 Please note you will need your own transport to get to the job location. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the flow of vehicles on site
  • Directing vehicles to the correct loading/unloading locations
  • Inspecting trailers prior to loading
  • Issuing clear “start” and “stop” instructions to the control room

 

Requirements:

  • Previous Banksman experience is essential
  • A recognised Banksman qualification/certification is highly desirable (expired certificates will still be considered)
  • Any mechanical experience (e.g. gearboxes, motors, conveyors) would be advantageous

 

Working Hours/Pay:

  • Monday to Friday: 7:00am – finish (typically no later than 6:00pm)
  • If shifts are available on Saturdays : 7:00am – finish (typically no later than 1:00pm)
  • £14.63 per hour
