Telehandler & Counterbalance Forklift Driver – 2 week temporary, Newark

Looking for temporary forklift work with an immediate start?

We are currently seeking an experienced Telehandler & Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy production environment based in the NG22 area, with immediate starts available on a temporary 2 week contract.

In this role you will be performing general Telehandler and Forklift Counterbalance duties such as loading, unloading and transporting materials across the site.

We’re seeking someone with experience in a Telehandler and Forklift Counterbalance role, with valid licences.

Please note: Due to the location of the site, applicants must have their own transport.

Pay Rate:

• £14.36 per hour

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 7am – 5pm

Contract:

• Temporary Contract – Up to 2 Weeks

Main duties of a Telehandler and Counterbalance Forklift Driver include:

• Operating Telehandler and Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
• Loading, unloading and transporting materials across site
• Strapping and securing trailers in line with safety procedures
• Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe yard environment
• Reporting any defects, maintenance issues or safety concerns
• Supporting production and operational teams as required
• Following all site health and safety policies and procedures

The ideal candidate for this Telehandler and Counterbalance Forklift position:

• Valid Telehandler Licence
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently
• Full UK Driving Licence and own transport
