Sortation and Quality Checker – Barnsley

Our small, well-established company based in Barnsley Town is seeking reliable and motivated Sortation and Quality Checking Operatives to join their friendly production team. This is a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career within the manufacturing industry, with full training and support provided.

Details:

• Pay Rate: £12.37 per hour
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm
• Weekly pay
• Immediate starts available
• Opportunity for permanent employment
• Friendly and supportive working environment

Main Duties:

• Quality checking and counting of parts
• Sorting products by size and packing them into boxes
• Completing paperwork accurately and efficiently
• Labelling and cross-referencing customer orders prior to despatch
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Other production duties as required

Skills Required:

• Previous experience in a sortation or quality checking role is an advantage but not essential
• Excellent attention to detail
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to meet targets and work efficiently to deadlines
• Good communication and teamwork skills
